The show is a continuation of the popular 1980’s series starring David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight and KITT (Knight Industries Two Thousand), the artificial intelligence behind a Pontiac Trans Am.

The new series, inspired by a two-hour pilot movie which aired in February 2008, will star Justin Bruening as Michael Knight’s estranged son, Mike Traceur. Deanna Russo will play the role of Traceur’s love interest Sarah Graiman and Val Kilmer will be the voice of KITT (now the Knight Industries Three Thousand). KITT, as per the pilot movie, is now a black 550 HP Ford Shelby GT 500 KR Mustang.

The show is set to debut this fall on NBC. Stay tuned for more news.
